How do I recover an earlier version of an Access document?

An earlier version of an Access document seems to have been replaced with a
blank one. I have tried a System restore unsuccessfully.

Vista has a nice shadow feature making it easy to turn back to an earlier
version.

Otherwise I think you have to try and find an earlier version of that Access
file - and then import that document from the old to the new.....

What exactly are you seeing that's blank? Access files are NOT "documents" -
they're containers for multiple tables, forms, reports, etc.

If you're looking at the data in a Form, it's possible that the data still
exists in your Table but the Form's properties (particularly the Data Entry
property) are set to conceal the data in the table. More details please,
before you start tearing up the floorboards looking for backups!
