How do i record a few words using Vista?

Im using a HP dv5 1009tx laptop and Vista home premium and would like to
know what program to use to record a few words with the built in mic,so i
can send via email.

Hit F1 key, brings up help>type in voice note.

Also sticky notes is situated in programs>accessories>tablet PC
