How do I read a PDF email file attachment?

I can successfully send it to myself, but when I send it to my work email,
it's hit or miss -- sometimes it goes thru and sometimes not. The problem
is,
I never get an "undeliverable" message when it does not go thru. So when I
sent out a newsletter to 100-plus people the other day, I prefaced it with
an
email without the attachment, and a request to let me know if the second
was
not received. So far I've gotten about a half-dozen responses to that
effect;
when I re-sent using my on-line Yahoo account there was no problem.

I'm running Norton, and I disabled the outgoing email scan feature when I
first noticed a problem, but that hasn't made a difference.

Disabling it is not enough.
Norton must be uninstalled completely.

Use a Vista compatible alternative such as Avast or AVG.

(again - turn off email scanning)

So I should add Norton to my now-lenghty list of programs that are not
compabible with Vista? If I had known I would have to replace ALL my old
programs when I purchased a new computer, I would have bought a Mac.

Yep.

programs when I purchased a new computer, I would have bought a Mac.

Pity you didn't do any research prior to purchase.

I keep hearing people saying that Norton isn't compatible with "vista". I
don't understand why so many people are having problems with it. My new PC
came with vista and Norton internet security installed on it. I've had it
for about 5 months now and have had no problems with it. I have since
renewed my trial subscription to Norton with no problems of any kind, except
when I first set up I had to call my server and get a little help setting up
Windows mail to download my email from bellsouth.net. They helped me get my
settings right and I've had no problems since. Maybe all y'all need to do is
contact your own servers and get them to help you out. Of course I'm in no
way a techie and may just be one of the lucky ones. Either way I'm happy
with my vista, windows mail and Norton Internet security.

If cost is a consideration, there are lots of good programs available for free,
including antivirus programs such as Avast, AVG, and Computer Associates (CA).
Many other older programs can run under Vista if you use the compatibility settings.

I don't understand why people are having a problem with it either BUT...
there are an awful lot of cases where Norton is implicated in errors
that disappear when Norton is uninstalled. Yes, the evidence is what
may be described as circumstantial but there is so much that it
passes beyond coincidence in my, amateur, opinion.

No doubt there are may who are using it successfully for
extended periods but there are also many who get
bitten by it after many months too.

I note that Norton do not deny compatibility issues.
(I do not believe they are unaware of the problem.)

Count yourself as one of the lucky few who can run Norton without
having it mess up Windows Mail. It's equivalent to playing
Russian roulette, some people are very lucky.

Have you installed Abode Reader, the program used for reading such files?

I suggest that you avoid the Google Toolbar, since it causes problems in
Windows Mail.

How to connect it to Windows Mail:
