How do I Re-Format my computer?

Hi,
I was looking to reformat my computer's "C" Drive, and I
am not quite sure how. I have don this in the past with
the help of a friend, but I have not attempted it myself.
I was wondering if someone could give me a hand by
emailing me a step by step way to this. Thanks so much,

your Windows XP CD is bootabel. boot from the CD to install XP and
formatting is part of the setup.

Boot to your CD (XP AS MENTIONED IN EARLIER REPLY)
Delete your existing ntfs? partition.
Create your New NTFS Partition and Format the New
Partition. (Full Format Not Quick) and Reinstall WIN XP.
Load Chipset Drivers if needed for your motherboard, then
go check Device Mgr. for any X,!,? Devices. Then Install
the Proper Drivers for these Devices with Splats. (?,!,x)
