How do I protect fields in a Outlook template

I created a template in Microsoft Word and had the "Document Protection"
enabled... When I copied it into Outlook and saved it as an "Outlook
Template" all the security was dropped ...users can edit eveything ... What
I'm trying to do is block the left side and allow entry to the right side of
my template... Please Advise

Outlook doesn't support any protection of the message body.

Can a protected document be imported? if yes, will Outlook then keep the
protection??

Since Outlook doesn't import Word documents, I'm not sure what you have in mind. Bottom line is that email messages don't support the kind of protection you seem to be looking for.

What would be a cool solution (but not one you could build overnight) might be to render whatever is on the left side as an image, then embed that in the message.
