How do I print internal routing information where postage is locat

How do I print the word "Courier" on a standard envelope in the area
designated for postage so that the envelope will be processed through our
internal mail system as opposed to going through the postal system?

Insert / Text Box
Draw a rectangle in the area where postage normally appears.
Type the appropriate words in the text box.
You may want to format the text box to remove the border lines around it.

The solution posted by TedMi works perfectly well for one envelope at a time.
I have set up Word document with the addresses of various locations that I
frequently mail to. I place the cursor in the appropriate address and then
use Tools/ Letters and Mailings/ Envelopes and Labels to print the envelope
with the selected address. The solution offered by Graham Mayor seems to
offer the possibility of having "Courier" automatically printed on the
envelope when I follow my procedure delineated above. However, I am confused
when reading the web page instructions offered by Graham Mayor. The page
says to achieve this effect create a paragraph style. I do not understand
how to create a paragraph style. Could you please place a few more bread
crumbs on the trail so I can find my way home

Styles are the backbone on which Word hangs. Every paragraph has a style -
by default Normal. To create a paragraph style Format > style > new (and
setup the parameters you require). Check the add to template button.

However that method will put the autotext on *all* envelopes and so the
second more versatile method is to be preferred.

An alternative method of placing the addresses would entail saving them in
an Outlook contacts list (configured as an e-mail address book) and using
the method suggested at http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm to pick the
address. There are sample envelope templates for download from my web site
that use this method. You can edit them to produce any appearance you
require.
