How do I perform a compltely clean re-install of Outlook?

Outlook 2003 stopped showing calender items, so I copied items to new pst,
removed Outlook and deleted outlook.ost and then reinstalled. Now when I
start Outook it looks for the copied pst. How do I make Outlook install as a
brand new install so that the messy history is not copied into the new
version? Thanks!

Egads, talk about the exact wrong way to get Outlook to use a new data file.

The first thing you should have done is go to Control Panel and create a new
Profile and configure it to use a new Outlook Data File.

I have no idea what kind of hodge-podge you have now created.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Outlook_reinstall asked:

You didn't remove that PST from the mail profile.
