How do I paste from excel into Powerpoint as picture with format

I have an excel file with some data. I am trying to copy the cells in excel
into powerpoint as a picture. When it pastes into powerpoint the size and
fonts change depending on how much is copied and pasted. Is there a way to
paste it with a set format? so each page with pasted data will look the same.

You may hold the shift-key in XL doing Edit | Copy
or you may use in PP Edit | Paste Special
or you cut the inserted picture in PP and then Edit | Paste Special
