how do I open sreadsheet e-mails

I received an e-mail that contains a spread sheet that I need to open, I am
new to computers and need to know how to open it

Do you mean open in access, or just open generally?

Excel is used for spreadsheets. What sort of e-mail are you using (i.e.
Outlook Express/web-based)?
