How do I open Outlook 2007 in standard mode (not safe mode)?

I was having a problem opening Outlook 2007 yesterday. When I tried to open
it using the shortcut, it would just do nothing. It wouldn't open at all and
I received no error message. I had recently downloaded a trial version of
Microsoft Groove, and it has been since then that I have had this problem
occur a few times.

I uninstalled Groove, which seemed to be causing the problem, and then
Outlook opened in Safe Mode. Now it will ONLY open in safe mode and no
matter what I have done, I can't get it to open normally.

Help! Can anyone tell me what to do? Thanks, I will really appreciate it,
because it won't save any of my display settings or fonts or anything else.

I'd try anew profile created via the Mail icon in Control Panel.
You could try Outlook in safe mode first and see if the Groove add-in is
listed. If it is then disable it.

Thanks for your response, Bill R. I did create a new profile as you
suggested and used that to open outlook. Unfortunately it still opened in
safe mode, as before. Any other ideas? I have already uninstalled Groove so
it is not showing up as an addin.

Try deleting outcmd.dat (a hidden outlook file) and see if outlook will
start. If not, you might need to repair the installation.
