how do i open a GIF files in outlook 2007

when ever i send a *.gif file as an attachment, i can able to open it in IE,
but not in outlook.

If you send it as an attachment, that's how it should work. Are you expecting
the .gif file to automatically display within the email as if embedded or are
you trying to achieve something else?
