How do I move the file menu back to it's original place?

The file menu has moved under the view menu so the edit menu is the first
menu on the right (next to the small Excel icon). The view, insert, ,format,
tools, data, window and help menu are in their correct order.
 
Hold the Alt key on the keyboard, and drag the File menu back where it
belongs.
 
I'm unable to grab "File" when it is a sub-menu under the view menu. I can
do as you suggest when "File" is in a different location on the menu bar but
not when it is a sub-menu. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!
 
You can choose Tools>Customize
If you haven't customized the worksheet menu bar (except this
unintentional change), you can select it on the list of toolbars, and
click Reset.
If you have made customizations that you want to keep, go to the
Commands tab.
Select the Built-in Menus category, and drag the File menu to your menu bar.
Drag off the one on the View menu.
