How Do I Make XP Show ALL Extensions?

Both of my machines show ALL file extensions. I am trying to set a
friend's computer to do the same thing, but I can't figure out how.

In the Tools > Folder Options > View there is a check box for "Hide
Extensions for Known File Types." Unchecking this shows extensions
for files that have known associations, but it you encounter an
unknown extension (e.g., .flx) the extension does not show on his
machine.

How do I make ALL extensions show?
