Hi

How do I make "today" more visible in Monthly View?

For some reason on my PC today is only flagged with a dull grey
colour.
Whereas on my colleague's PC today's date is a nice bright Orange
colour.

How can I reset it?

With thanks

What - how?

I already tried this:

On the Tools menu => click Options => and then click Calendar Options
=> Background color

...But that only changes the *background* colour. (e.g. white/cream/
pale green etc.) but it does
NOT change Today's colour !

Microsoft Help says:
The color you choose is applied to Day and Work Week views. Week and Monthviews
use system background colors, which by default, are gray and white.

So do I need to change some SYSTEM colours somewhere?

Okay I've finally managed it by changing the system colours in the
following way:
Right-click on desktop => Properties => Appearance => Windows and
Buttons
.... needs to be changed from "Windows Classic Style" to become
"Windows XP Style"

And Today's date in Monthly View has, as if by magic, suddenly got an
orange flash on it.

The strange thing is that non of the system colours that you can edit
appear to have that
orange colour on them.

The only problem is that personally I very much hate the 3D aspect to
the buttons.
(Just a lot of visual 'noise', it would seem to me!)
