How do I make file folderlabels print on Avery form

I have tried to figure this out -- I want to print out pages of labels for
office file folders. I cannot seem to do anything but a page of all the same
label! or one label at a time. I also need to make mailing labels (not mail
merge) and need to know how to put on Avery (or other) mailing labels

I have tried to figure this out -- I want to print out pages of labels for
office file folders. I cannot seem to do anything but a page of all the same
label! or one label at a time. I also need to make mailing labels (not mail
merge) and need to know how to put on Avery (or other) mailing labels

In the Label dialog, leave the Address box empty and click the New
Document button. The resulting document contains a table where each
cell is the size of one label (according to the Avery stock number you
chose). If you don't see the table, click Table > Show Gridlines. Then
type the text into the cells, and print and/or save the document.

For mailing labels, especially if you expect to use the same addresses
again, a mail merge to labels is a great time-saver -- don't dismiss
the idea offhand. If you want to type in the addresses on the labels,
though, the same method will work. Just choose the right stock number
in the Options from the Label dialog.
