Printing Avery Labels in MS Word 2007

I have recently upgraded from Office 2002 to Office 2007 and I cannot seem
to find a way to print Avery labels (5160, 5162 and 5167) even though I
select those products from the drop-down list of Avery labels. Are there
different settings or protocols for Word 2007? Any suggestions are greatly
appreciated.

How are you trying to create them? Single label, whole page of the same, or
a sheet with different ones using New Document? If the last, remember that
you need to display table gridlines (Table Tools | Layout | Table | View
Gridlines). And then you print them the same way you would any other
document.

In all instances, I was trying to print a single label, manually inserting an
Avery label sheet and selecting the Avery label # from the menu

And what was the result? Did the document not print when you clicked Print,
or did it print the wrong label? If the latter, that is a longstanding
(albeit I believe intermittent) bug in the Labels dialog. The workaround is
to use New Document and fill in the desired label.

Only a fragment of the label text was printed on the upper left corner of the
sheet, and even that was outside the label print area. It never happened to
me with Office Word 2002!

Sounds like a failure to communicate between Word and the printer. Is this a
small label sheet? If so, try printing the label on a full sheet of paper to
see where it prints and then figure out whether you can feed the labels
sheet there. If not, you may have to create a custom label sheet that has
the labels placed where the printer expects to feed them.

Solved!!! The options screens are different in Word 2007 and I just had to
try all of the screens before I found the one that worked! Thank you for your
help!
