How do I make a powerpoint presentation read-only?

I run XP Home SP2 and MS Office/Powerpoint 2003.

I want to create and e-mail powerpoint presentation attachments however
saving the file as .ppt will not "seal" it and recipients would be able to
modify the content. How can that be prevented, e.g. how can I save a
powerpoint presentation as read-only??

Assign a Modify password and when you send the presentation file don't inform
the end user what the password is. Their only option will be to open it as Read
Only. Please note, however, if the end user has PowerPoint 2000 or 97 or the
PowerPoint 97 Viewer they won't be able to open the presentation at all. In
