How do I lock a group of cells in Excel?

I'm trying to lock down a group of cells so they won't be able to move. How
do I do this?
 
- Tools / Protection / Protect Sheet
- Remember to unlock the cells that you want to be able to put input into.
- Format / Cells / Protection
- uncheck the 'Locked' checkbox
