Lock cells in a shared workbook

Jennifer

I have a workbook that I have shared among a group of people. I would like
to be able to "lock" certain cells but it is not allowing me to enter in
protection after I share and protect. Is this possible?

Nope... You can not change the protection on a shared workbook without first
unsharing it. In Help type in Shared workbook restrictions to find a complete
list of the features that are unavailable...
