How do I load access 95 to office xp

I am going from a windows 95 computer with access 97 loaded on it to an XP
computer with Small Business Office edition. I have the original office 95
program that I want to load but only for access. I install and then try to
update to access 97. It wipes out my new Office xp small business and will
not let me open access. It says not enough memory. I check both my ram and
my system and I am fine. Any suggestions?

(It has been a long time since I touch these old versions, so this is from
unreliable memory ...)

Perhaps, you should try to install Access97 first. If this is an "Upgrade"
version of Access/Office97, I think you only need to insert the Office95 CD
into the drive when the system can't find the qualifying product(s) from
your PC and ask you for the Access/Office95. You don't actually need to
install Access95 then upgrade to Access97.

Note that Access97 may need some upgrade / patches to work on PC with more
than 1 GB of RAM.

After Access97 works OK, install your Office SBS in a *different* folder.
