How do I link the content of an entire row to the first cell?

This would be all text. I would like to put an item number in the first
column, and have excel auto fill the description and other items within the
row (seperate cells for each category).
 
You'd be better off asking this in a newsgroup related to Excel.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.
