hello.
I've got a lot of crap starting everytime I start the
computer in the (right) systray (not the Quick Launch).
How do I kill stuff from the SysTray (in order to speed up
logon) ?.

Hi

Try msconfig>startup - uncheck any entries there. Some of the programs in
the Notification Area may be starting with Windows from a setting inside
that program itself.

It's called the notification area in XP. First go to the individual
program launching each item and check the preferences to turn off it
loading at startup. If you can't do it that way then do msconfig.

Check for an option to not having the icon load in the System Tray via the
program(s) in question.

Other options for removal:

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.
