Im trying to put a video clip on PPT but its a quicktime clip and the other
is a media clip. I was following the online instructions I found but when I
go to do it something always pops up saying object library not registered.

Basically Im going to View > Toolbars > Control Box > More Controls > Quick
Time Object
but as I said before when I go to draw the box for the size I want it to be,
it says the object library is not registered. Can anyone help me please?

I am afraid this does not work the way you would like. The QT control can
not be used in a development environment in this manner. My suggestion is
to convert the QT file in to a Windows format.

Happens I was just doing a little mano-a-mano ( or maybe it was man-a-mac )
with this. A friend received a CD from a Mac user, mostly JPGs and PDFs, so no
worries. It also has a MOV file. Installing Quicktime on the guy's PC is
against my religion and as I understand it, it might not have worked anyhow so
we'll pass on that option.

I popped the MOV over to the Mac where we found that the music was under DRM,
so we couldn't play that w/o forking over to iTunes'R'Us.

NBD, canceled out of that and the video played fine.
I have QT Pro on the Mac and used it to strip the audio track out (had to do
that before QT would light up the "Export" option).

SO. QT's ready to export and will give me these teeny little AVI files that
look awful compared to the original QT. No surprise there, what with the QT at
3mb and change going down to a 750kb AVI. Something had to give and in QTPro's
worldview, it needed to be all the quality. I sure wish they *would* Think
Different, from this at least. <g>

It also offered to make MP4s. These wouldn't play on the PC.

It's a conspiracy, I tell you.
