How do I install addins?

I have been trying to install the data analysis addin but it keep telling me
the file is not found! I tried the online help but I still could not locate
the file! Do I have to reinstall Office?

Hi Maria

Do you mean the analysis toolpack Add-in?
Do you see it in Tools>Add-ins in the menu bar?

You can run the Office install and use "Add and Remove" to
add the Add-ins if they are not installed on you system

Taken form Help:
1.. On the Tools menu, click Add-Ins.
2.. In the Add-Ins available list, select the Analysis ToolPak box, and
then click OK.

3.. If necessary, follow the instructions in the setup program.
But if you do not see Analysis Toolpac you need to use Start|Control Panel;
click on Microsoft Office and use the Change option. Now add the Toolpak
(add Solver while you are at it - you may need it one day)
