How do I insert new pages with different page number format?

I am inserting page changes into technical documents that have different page
numbers. For example I am inserting a new page 4-64 plus an additional page
with the page number 4-64.1. How do I change the page number format to add
the page with the page number 4-64.1? I have searched the discussion groups
and the FAQs but haven't found (or maybe somehow overlooked) this exact
problem addressed.

I have tried using section breaks to add a new page but only managed to mess
up the other page numbers. Is there a way to do this without inserting a lot
of section breaks?

Thanks for any help.

You change pagination by inserting Section Breaks. Be sure to uncheck
"Same as Previous" from the newly added one and from the one after it
_before_ you make any changes to the page numbering.

I'm not sure about getting the page numbering to resume in the third
section involved -- it might involve working with Fields, which is
beyond me.

(If everything is finalized, you could just set the Start At value to
65, but then you'd have to change it manually if any pages got added
before it.)
