Can't use Insert File in a normal new message. Creates a box inside the text.
No help available from online or local Help. May go back to Outlook 2000.

you might be able to insert it as an Object in an rtf email but that format
of mail is the least supported.
Just attach it!

The file is there. You can't see it because you are using Word as the editor,
Word is configured to display a placeholder for pictures, and the message
format is RTF.

If you change the format of the message to HTML, you will see an attachment
icon in the header.
