How do I increase quota to add a user for permissions in frontpag.

I am trying to set up a restricted page. When I tried to add a user I got
this message: "The user account (name) can not be created due to quota
limitations. The maximum number of user accounts for this virtual server has
been reached. either remove an account before adding another or contact your
administrator to increase the quota." There is only one user on the account
and that is myself as the administrator. Is this a setting I can change in
frontpage or is this referring to my server account and must be changed
there? Anyone???

This is control by your web host, and based on the message, you do not have permissions to create
unique user accounts.

I have sent a request to my host server to inquire about getting this service
- but in anticipation that it will not happen...I am now shopping for a new
web site host that will allow me to use the front page features I need.

With any web host, is best to consider using a database and server-side scripting solution, where
you have complete control over your user database so that you can back it up. When you use the OS to
manage user access to your web site, you can not back this up, nor can users change their login
info, etc.

Also no matter which host you choose, you need to contact them to see exactly what they support, as
the FP extensions allow then to disable features, so just seeing a ad or listing that FrontPage
Support or FrontPage Extensions Supported can mean different things to different web host.
