Is there a web page that I could use to import the folders in my Windows
Mail to Outlook 2007 somewhere? I am not sure what to do with the Import
feature, what to choose, etc. Thanks all...katy

Try File | Export | Messages in WinMail or File | Import | Messages in
Outlook.

You have to Export msgs from Mail (exchange type) to Outlook, which has to
be installed & configured on the same PC, outlook doesnt recognise Mail as
an import option

In Windows Mail, when I go to File/Export there is a choice to export
messages. Then it asks for Microsoft Exchange or Windows mail, do I choose
Exchange?

Ok, I decided to go ahead and export the messages using Microsoft Exchange
thanks to DL's hint (exchange type). It went very well. I had Outlook open
at the time, all set up.
But the export didn't bring the folders into Outlook like I thought. I went
to File/Import in Outlook and the choices are magnanimous.
I can choose 'Import from another program or file' and then next screen is
so confusing. What do I choose from the 'Select file type to import from:'
in order to get the folders I exported from Windows Mail. I sure hope I'm
not losing anything with this process :(

This is why I needed a web page that shows how to do this. It may be simple
for MVPs but I'm just a plain jane :( k

Hello:

My name is Marc and I am wondering how to access my windows vista e-mail
from another outsidecomputer?
I use the same e-mail address for aol mail as I do for windows vista mail.
When I delete messages from my aol e-mail, it does not delete the windows
vista e-mail. I have to go in and do it manually on the Vista e-mail.

Thanks,

Marc
