how do I import a table from wordperfect into access

Probably with difficulty. They are very different programs;
WordPerfect is a word processor, not a database.

Try copy and pasting the table into Excel, and see if you can import
it from there.

The other question is, what type of data are you trying to get to.
Wordperfect can save documents as a word document. If you can get
access to reference word you may ba able to get it to reference WP's
approximation of a Word Doc.

Well, even importing a Word table into an Access table is a great deal
harder than you might guess. That's why I suggested Excel - it's the
only reliable way I've found to do so!
