How do I import a distribution list?

I was sent a distribution list. I am on the same global contacts list. How do
I import this distribution list into my own contacts?
 
hi,
1.Import the distribution list into a new table.
File>get external date>import>follow wizard.
2.write an append query to append the data in the
distributions list table to your contact table.
once appended,you can delete the distribution table.
