How do i highlight areas of my slide? I want to call out sections of an
image and talk about different parts of it on different slides

I see three possible ways to do this (but I'm sure there are many more):

(1) You could simply use the pen tools from the little menu that shows up
in the lower left corner of the screen.

(2) You could use the drawing tools to draw boxes and arrows around what
you want.

(3) You could use animation effects to either bring in the arrows and boxes
from #2 or to set emphasis effects.

Possibly the most impressive way is to set the image as the slide backgrou8nd
(format > background >fill effects> picture)
Place a shape over the area to be highlighted withy no line. Format >
autoshape> color = background
add an emphasis effect grow 150% and trigger with a click on itself.

If instead of a background image fill you get a grey fill you will need to
NOT apply the master design to this slide.

Hope that makes sense because it looks impressive.
