How do I get Word to show an embeded oject?

It used to work and I must have hit a button or command to change this. I
used to be able to view excel tables and charts directly in word and
manipulate them in there orginal format. Now all I see is {EMBED
Excel.Sheet8}

Any help would be great. Thanks in advnace.

Press Alt+F9 to toggle from showing field codes (what you see now) to field
results.
