Viewing embedded Excel Worksheet in Word

I used to be able to see and edit embedded excel worksheets in Word, but now
see only codes, like this: {Embed Excel.Sheet.12}. How can I get back the
abililty to see and edit the worksheet in the Word document?

Hi D.,

You can use Alt+F9 to switch the display from field code to field contents for embedded or linked items.
