I am sure that I used to be able to get two rows of print into one cell.
I have tried sub and super script, easy for one row, then it cancels that
when you try to put the second row in.
Is there a way please?

Use Format | Cells and go to the [Alignment] tab and choose "Wrap Text"
Now you can put multiple rows of text into the cell. Press [Alt]+[Enter]
when you want to force a new line of text in it.
