How do i get the page numbering to GO AWAY?!?!?.....

i opened this document....n the pages were numbered...i dont want them
to.....becouse it's all not in order.....soo how do i et them to go
way?...please help

If you're in Print or Page Layout view (we'd know which you need to go to if
you gave your version---please always give your version to be safe), then
you should be able to double-click on the page number to open the header or
footer in which it resides, and then select the page number and hit your
delete key. If the page number gets a box around it, you may have to click
on the box and THEN delete.
