How do I get the new Word to add a column of numbers?

At the end of each month, I have to submit a table basically with dates,
names, and numbers. I always put the numbers in the far right column and
Word 2002 automatically added those for me if I hit "Table" and "Formula".
How can I do this in Word 2007?

Word 2007 does exactly the same. Click in the table cell where you want the
total and select 'formula' from the Layout tab.

Hi ,

You can create formulas using Word but there are alot of limitations. You
might want to try "Formula Builder for MS Word." It has a free demo version
at most major software download sites.

I just want to add a column. What do I type in the formula for that?

In Word2007 when you are in a table you will see two contexual tabs (Table
Design and Table Layout). On the Design tab there is a group labeled "Data"
in that group is the button that launches the formula dialog.
