How do I get the modification date to upload to my site

When I update a page of my web, the date of modification shows correctly. But
when I upload the page, the original date of publishing my web site shows.

What are you using for the date?
If the FP Insert Date select the option for last automatically updated and resave the page
- then publish and refresh your browser when viewing
