How do I get the gridlines back to the normal default format?

I was copying and pasting things around and the formatting of th
gridlines got messed up. Some have no lines, some have bold lines, an
so on. I went to the format cell option but I can't find a settin
that puts them back to the normal default of when you have a brand ne
sheet.

Anyone know how to fix this

Hi

Use Ctrl A to select all cells. Then Format/Cells Make sure the border tab
shows a blank box and the pattern tab is set to 'no colour'

Under Format | Cells the Border tab has a preset for None assuming thi
is what you are looking for...

Nope. Didn't work. Selected everything, hit none, but the cells wit
no borders still have no borders. I just want everything to look lik
its default but because of the things I copied and pasted around som
of the cells have no gridlines at all.

I just want them to look uniform like they do when you first open u
excel

I'm a bit confused. You are saying that some cells have no borders an
some have borders? If two or more cells are merged, they will not sho
borders.

Do you still have bold borders and non-bold borders? Are the border
acutally lines (from the drawing toolbar)?

If all cells don't have borders, it may be that the grid was toggle
off. From the forms toolbar, click the toggle grid button (a squar
grouping of dots).

Other than that, I've no clue what's going on.

Have you tried the obvious?

<Tools> <Options> <View> tab,
Under "WindowOptions", make sure "Gridlines" *is* checked.
