How do I get scrolling in Outlook to work?

When I move the scroll bar when viewing my list of received messages, the
screen doesn't scroll until I finish moving my scroll bar and release the
moust button. The list should scroll simultaneously as I move the scroll bar.
Why doesn't the list move until I finish moving the scroll bar and then
release it?

That's the way it works. Nothing is wrong. You can use a scroll wheel on the
messages to move down the list. You can also double click beneath the scroll
bar to move one screen down.

What version of Outlook are you using, what Mouse (Logitech by any chance)
and, if Outlook 2003, is the reading pane off, right or bottom?

Hi Milly,

Thanks for the response! I have a Microsoft mouse, my reading panes are off,
and I'm using 2003 (11.8010.8036). The strange thing about the scroll feature
is that sometimes the pane does scroll, and sometimes it does not. One person
responded that that's the way Outlook works--it doesn't scroll, but on my
computer it scrolls sporadically. That's why I was wondering what I'm doing
wrong, or what settings are not correct.
