how do I get rid of " ehttcp://....."

Joe

I got a new computer with i.e. 6.0 and when I type in the
url like for example " www.microsoft.com" and i click on
GO, it takes a long time to load. The thing is that while
that is happening, on the status bar in the bottom of the
internet explorer window it reads " ehttcp://" then the
www.microsoft.com. What is ehttcp and how can I get rid
of it?
