My parents seem to have a lot of moths at the moment?
Anyone got any experience on how to get rid of them?
Or anything we can use to kill the little sods with, No animals in house now so it can be lethal!!!!
Lavender always worked for my gran - so it's something that I continue to use too. She always had sachets of dried lavender in her wardrobes and chests of drawers - which not only gave a nice aroma, but seemed to keep the beasties at bay. If you don't have your own lavender bushes (as she did) you can get the next best thing here: anti-moth sachets
Moths also dislike cedar wood. You can get various shapes to put into drawers, etc. Sample here.
I would call in the pros ... there is a 'extreme heat treatment' that they use these days, kills everything from egg, larva/pupa to adult. You will need to vacate the house while the procedure is done as they do use a high heat.
added bonus, no other creepy crawlies survive!
