How do I get rid of border (?) lines in form?

I'm not sure they're border lines, but in the form header (or it's the first
thing in the detail) there's a horizontal line all the way across the page.
Also, I have wording in the form footer and there horizontal lines above and
below the wording in the form footer. How do I get rid of these lines?
 
They are probably line controls (if you see them in print or preview).
Select them in design view and delete them.
 
Set the form's Dividing Lines property to No. (on the Format tab)
