question. Access (the subject of this newsgroup) doesn't use "cells" -
Excel does - but you might mean a table field; I just don't know!
I don't know it this will help, but open your table in design view.
Click on your field row that has the problem. Then click the "General"
tab near bottom of the table and make sure that the "Default Value"
setting does not have a 0 there. If it does, just delete it and those
pesky zeros will stop appearing!
