Students are creating PowerPoint presentations, which teach lessons in
Micorsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). They would llke to use
pictures of different screens or dialog boxes. Where can they find them?

Hello:

Here's a nice piece of freeware: HoverSnap v0.8 , which will allow
screenshots of the current window, screen or custom selected area. You can
save in a variety of formats: jpg, png, bmp and gif. I suspect print quality
won't be the best as it captures sceen resolution, but using in a PPT
presentation will be great.

You can set up the capture folder / filename and format.
You can reduce the capture size, Auto-generate filename option will add the
time stamp (date/time) to your filename in order to be able to take several
captures without having to change the filename. Optional sound when capture
is done.

get it here: http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm about half way down.
Look for HoverSnap v0.8

I have no relation to these folks, but use it myself. I also recently got
some big help from this discussion group and am trying to give a little back.
