How do I get part of my report in landscape and part in portrait.

I have a document that is mostly in portrait format but I need some sections
including screen images to be in landscape format. How do I do this? Is there
any editing mode where I can actually tell what format the page is that I am
looking at. Often when I think something is in landscape whan I print the
document, it comes out in portrait.
