combine landscape and portrait documents

Is is possible to merge a landscape document into a portrait document? I
have a schedule that is a table which is logically better in a landscape
format, but the rest of the doucment is in portrait.

Yes. Insert a section break and change the page setup to landscape for that
section only. Then insert the table. If you are adding more content in
portrait format, insert another section break and change the page setup back
to portrait.

Yes it is possible. For example you arrived at a point when you need to
change your orientation to landscape:

1. Go to Page Setup
2. Set Orientation to Landscape
3. On the Apply To dropdown menu select this point forward.

Click Ok

If you want to change back to portrait do the same thing
