How do I get my flag option to work for emails?

I am unable to get the follow-up feature to work for emails or contacts yet
it functions correctly for calendar entries. I've tried everything to resolve
this. This feature worked flawlessly in the previous version of Outlook that
I had.

Sounds like you upgraded to 2003. 2003 Flags offer more
choices. try to reflag the flagged brought over. This
worked for me.
