How do I get my favorites folder to suppress the IMAP service name? It
currently will say the folder name "in" the service name. For example,
"Deleted Items in Microsoft IMAP Server". That is so long that I cannot see
the # of unopened items, without expanding the width of my pane
substantially. I'd prefer it just said "Deleted Items".

Thanks.

you can't :(
hover over the name for a second to the count in a tooltip.

You can't but you can certainly give the IMAP account a very short name.

Thank you both for responding. Brian, I changed the name of the IMAP service
to a much shorter name. Several log ins later, it had replaced the service
name with the original name. Weird! Any ideas?

Nope, sorry.
