Thank you for your timely response. Now that I have created the backup.pst,
how do I restore to the new machine? Also, will I have problems going from
OL2000 to OL2003?
After creating the backup.pst, I am having problems copying the file to a cd
or disk. What options do I have in moving the backup file to my new machine?
How do I burn a disk to copy the file? I've never had this many problems.
Is there any other options for moving my outlook files and folders to my new
machine, i.e. network?

Hi Vernell,
sure, if you working in a network, you just move your pst file on a network
drive in a seperate folder. Be sure that YOU have full permission to the pst
file.
After installing the new mashine, Open Outlook
FILE | OPEN | DATAFILE and point to the pst in the network!
After that, your pst will be alwaays in the network.
Or you install your new mashine, move your pst file from the network drive
to the default path local on your mashine
and after that you proceed FILE | OPEN | DATAFILE
