I've tried the solution suggested to a previous user but it hasn't worked.
Any other suggestions?

You tried what suggestion in what Outlook version? Don't forget to restart
Outlook.

Assuming you are using Outlook 2003, you should be able to set this by doing
the following

Open Outlook 2003
Choose EMail Account
Select "View or change existing directories or address books" Next
Select the address book, click Change
In the "Show Names By:" section, select "File As"
Close
Restart Outlook

I hope that helps.
